On Thursday, the Danish part of the team behind Inside Scandinavian Business met with the brilliant photographer Henning Hjorth to create the beginning of a series of skyline photos of all the writers and contributors of Inside Scandinavian Business.
Inside Scandinavian Business are excited to be collaboration with Henning Hjorth. Hjort’s skillset ranges from portraits and reportages to corporate photography. He has in his 20 year career as a photographer been shooting pictures for big brands such as BMW Sweden, DSB, Fritz Hansen, Dansk Design Center, Dansk Skuespillerforbund, Ørsted Politiken and Ekstra Bladet.
Collaboration is key
The biggest and best entrepreneurs always collaborate with people and other businesses. Potential collaborations are part chance, part endurance, and should be acted upon with full commitment at every opportunity.
Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group told Inc. that the model at Virgin has always welcomed collaborations. "The fundamental driver of our success at Virgin has, and will always be, our people working together," says Richard Branson. "To be successful in business, and in life, you need to connect and collaborate."
We undoubtedly share the same view at Inside Scandinavian Business. The importance of collaborations and giving back to the people you work with, benefits everyone. And it creates such a positive driving force for the business itself and the people in the business.
Collaborations in young businesses
The reality is that many entrepreneurs have a wide range of skillsets and are capable of doing most business tasks themselves. However, experience is a commodity that no amount of money can buy, and it benefits to collaborate with people who are more knowledgeable than you. The help and advice given could be the welcome boost needed, and potentially the difference between success and failure.
By choosing to collaborate with the people you have around you, you show a sense of appreciation of their work. And when people feel appreciated and cherished, the collaboration is often fruitful in both directions.
We believe that information should be free and will therefore never put up a paywall.
